Brenntag, the global market leader in chemicals and ingredients distribution, today announced its launch of Salesforce Agentforce. Brenntag, the first customer to test Salesforce Agentforce in Germany, is introducing Artificial Intelligence (AI) agents to selective customers, to further deepening customers’ experience, with the goal of becoming the easiest to do business with in the chemical industry and beyond.
Salesforce Agentforce enables organizations to build, customize, and scale AI agents for employees and customers. Brenntag has successfully trialed Agentforce as an extension to its foundational Salesforce platform and is launching AI agents to provide 24/7 services to our selective customers and supply partners. Brenntag’s customers will experience the next level of services, including answering sales order and product inquiries 24/7, proactively following up order updates, and recommending next value-added actions.
“From the start in 2022, our very successful partnership with Salesforce was about the benefits we can bring to our customers and supply partners. We want to ensure we are the easiest to do business with,” said Michelle Wu, Chief Digital Data & Technology Officer at Brenntag. “AI tools like Agentforce significantly amplify our customer service teams and their industry and process expertise by automating and streamlining end-to-end processes, accelerating insights, and quickly and reliably providing relevant data for any inquiry.”
Based on the successful pilot, Brenntag will expand the initial trial to the benefit of employees, customers and suppliers in further regions and markets.
“Brenntag is connecting the global chemical industry and has quickly become one of Salesforce’s key partners in this industry, driving innovation and leveraging the power of the Salesforce Platform,” says Alexander Wallner, CEO Central Europe at Salesforce. “Now, with our autonomous agents, they are accelerating their workforce and business, creating more personalized and connected customer experiences, leveraging all of their data and fostering deeper relationships with customers and suppliers, ultimately driving growth.”
