Brenntag, the global market leader in chemicals and ingredients distribution, is pleased to announce the appointment of Bjørn Andersen as Chief Operating Officer (COO Supply chain, HSE&S, operational excellence, CAPEX), effective no later than April 1, 2026. He will report directly to Jens Birgersson, CEO of the Brenntag Group.
This critical role will be instrumental in further developing the most competitive and scalable global distribution supply chain for chemicals and ingredients.
Bjørn Andersen joins Brenntag from Rockwool Group, where he currently serves as Senior Vice President of Group Operations and Technology. Prior to this, he held several senior leadership positions, including Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, and brings with him more than 20 years of professional experience.
