Its structure varies significantly from inhibited propylene glycol, which makes it a greater danger for both personal and industrial uses. It appears as a liquid with a mass of approximately 62.037 g/mol and a CAS number of 107-21-1.

Inhibited ethylene glycol can cause slight irritation on contact with your skin. Rubber gloves and protective clothing should always be worn when handling Inhibited Ethylene Glycol.
