What is Aloapur?

Aloapur^© is a feed material intended for farm animals in the form of a brown, loose, non-caking powder. It is lactate, an ester combination of lactic acid with a medium-chain fatty acid (C12 lauric acid and C14 myristic acid) - and is a completely new molecule used in animal nutrition. It has a beneficial effect on the intestinal flora (microbiota), is highly effective in inhibiting the growth of gram-positive bacteria in the digestive system, in particular those from the Clostridia and Streptococcus families, which results in improved health in animals and, as a result, improves production results, such as feed conversion and weight gain.

In many cases, thanks to the use of Aloapur^©, it is possible to achieve much better results than in the case of competing agents based, for example, on medium-chain fatty acids such as C6 caproic, C8 caprylic, C10 capric, C12 lauric acids, which in their pure form show much lower antimicrobial effectiveness. in a neutral environment, i.e. at the pH found in the intestines.

The active substance - lactate, is transferred via an organic, natural carrier, i.e. diatomaceous earth. Thanks to the use of a unique carrier, the preparation has very good physical properties (free-flowing, non-caking powder with a neutral odor).

Thoroughly tested

Aloapur^© has undergone multiple tests, both in vitro and in vivo, and their quality and reliability were the responsibility of the Wageningen University and the Wageningen Research Foundation. The conducted tests have shown that even a very low concentration of lactates contained in Aloapur^© is an effective obstacle for the development of pathogenic bacteria, and at the same time, due to its selective properties, it does not inhibit the development of the desired symbiotic bacteria.

The product has also been proven to be effective in environments with varying pH. As can be seen in the graphs below, in an acidic environment (pH 4.5), the effectiveness of lactates is similar to that of lauric acid alone. However, in a more neutral environment with a reaction similar to that in the intestines (pH 6.5), Aloapur^© has a very great advantage, which explains its very good effectiveness in relation to competing preparations based on pure medium-chain acids or their glyceryl esters.

The test results were reflected in practice. When tested under controlled conditions, lower piglet mortality, less weight loss during lactation, less infection with Clostridial bacteria, greater mean weight of piglets after weaning and an overall reduction in mortality were observed in animals fed Aloapur® in the controlled conditions.

The results of tests carried out on sows under commercial breeding conditions, with the optimal dosage of the product at the level of 2 kg / T of feed, applied 10 days before parturition and during feeding, gave very positive results and the following were observed:

Less weight loss during lactation
Fewer stillborn piglets born
Fewer infections caused by Clostridium bacteria
Higher weaning weight of piglets
Reduction in mortality

Separate tests of the effectiveness of the preparation were also carried out in the case of poultry (broilers) and the result was highly satisfactory here as well:

Increase in final body weight by an average of approx. 50 g
The feed conversion rate fell from 1.63 to 1.58 FCR

Aloapur^© is used in the feeding of pigs and poultry. The recommended dose of the preparation is 2 kg for each ton of feed, therefore, to increase the convenience of use, several packaging sizes are available depending on the specific customer needs.

To further increase the efficiency of breeding, we recommend supplementing Aloapur^© with one more product from our offer, namely a new product called Neubacid Soft Piglet. It is a combination of lignosulfonic acid, formic acid and lactic acid, enriched with essential oils. Neubacid Soft Piglet is specially developed for pigs and has a strong antibacterial effect, from the feed to the last part of the digestive tract.

The acids it contains are very effective against gram-negative pathogens such as Salmonella and E.coli throughout the digestive system. In addition, the content of stabilized essential oils helps to improve feed consumption and immunity in young animals, especially piglets.

The recommended addition of Neubacid Soft Piglet is 4 kg for each tonne of feed.
