Brenntag in the "Smart Grow" program
In 2016, Brenntag Polska sp.z o.o. signed an agreement with the National Center for Research and Development for funding a research and development project entitled "Development of a technology for intensifying crude oil extraction on the basis of a globally innovative polyfractive nanoemulsion" under Measure 1.2 of the Intelligent Development Operational Program 2014-2020, co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund.
The total cost of the project was PLN 6,325,445.94, of which EU funding was PLN 3,645,421.31.
The aim of the research and development project is to be a new, innovative on a global scale technology supporting oil extraction.
The project will be carried out by Brenntag for three years (2017-2019) and consists in conducting research and development studies focused on the development of a new product - a polyfractive nanoemulsion with an innovative technology for the intensification of oil extraction in dolomite formations.
The composition of the nanoemulsion will be the result of a series of research and development works including laboratory and field tests.
The research will be developed by the best Brenntag specialists in cooperation with the Oil and Gas Institute.
