Potassium sorbate is an antimicrobial ingredient that inhibits growth of molds, yeasts & bacteria and is widely used as a preservative in foods, drinks, and personal care products. It is an odourless and tasteless salt synthetically produced from sorbic acid and potassium hydroxide.
