Mid of March, the Brenntag Essentials Executive Committee (ExCo), headed by BES CEO Ewout van Jarwaarde, gathered in Mexico to discuss and align various strategic topics of the division, to foster the ways of working in the new setup and to drive growth and synergy within the organization.

Within the agenda, an enriching visit was made to the Querétaro facilities, in our Central Mexico Last Mile Service Operation (LMSO), boasting a 80 railcar capacity with very strong growth. Additionally, during this visit, the BES manager also had the opportunity to meet and exchange with local talent and the LATAM leadership team, thus strengthening ties and collaboration within the region.

In Latin America, the General Managers of the Last Mile Services Operations were recently appointed, marking an important milestone for our BES strategy execution in the region. The ExCo members had the opportunity to meet with some of them, as well as with the general managers of LATAM and many other talents within our organization. This direct interaction strengthens the connection with the team and reinforces our shared vision for continued success in the Latin American market.

The meeting was an opportunity to reinforce strategic topics, such as the triple business model to serve our customers and supplier partners, focusing on the importance of operational efficiency and last mile optimization. Additionally, Brenntag's core corporate values were highlighted: excellence, care, trust, safety and clarity, reaffirming the leadership’s commitment to these principles in every action and decision made.
