Kerfoot´s Abyssinian Refined Oil is harvested from the seeds of the Crambe abyssinica originally from Eastern Africa and domesticated in the Mediterranean region.
This light, non-greasy oil exhibits excellent spreading properties, a good pigment wetting ability, superb pigment dispersing properties and can solubilise certain crystalline UV-filters. Furthermore, it has a great cushioning effect on the skin. These properties make it an excellent oil for use in colour cosmetics and sun cosmetics. Due to its good moisturising, smoothing and skin barrier protecting properties it is also especially useful for very dry and itchy skin as well as in anti-aging products. Typical further applications include liquid soaps, face and body creams and lotions.
In hair applications, Abyssininan Refined Oil provides a natural gloss, moisturises and reduces tangling. We recommend this multifunctional oil in shampoos and hair conditioners as well as heat treatment and anti-frizz hair oils.
