Witepsol® W is a series of hard fat excipients manufactured by IOI Oleo GmbH, primarily used in pharmaceutical applications such as suppositories, ovules, and capsule fillings. These grades are characterized by their higher hydroxyl values compared to other Witepsol types, which enhance their elasticity and surface activity, thereby improving the solubilization of active ingredients and stabilizing the distribution of dispersed raw materials.
