Witepsol® S grades are hard fats (hydrogenated vegetable glycerides) enhanced with specific additives—most notably non-ionic ethoxylated emulsifiers (like macrogol cetostearyl ether), plus waxes or glyceryl ricinoleate—for improved wetting, dispersibility, and absorption in aqueous or muco-adhesive formulations.
