SP Crodabase CR2 MBAL

SP Crodabase™ CR2 MBAL is a non-ionic, self-emulsifying base developed by Croda for the efficient preparation of oil-in-water (O/W) creams and lotions. This concentrated base is formulated with thickening waxes, non-ionic emulsifiers, lanolin-derived emollients, and hydrocarbons, resulting in products with moisturizing, emollient, and hydrating properties. It simplifies the formulation process by eliminating the need for multiple individual components, offering ease of handling and preparation, and significant time savings. SP Crodabase™ CR2 MBAL is particularly suitable for formulations requiring rapid spreadability over large skin areas, forming a thin, protective film. It can be enhanced with various additives to amplify specific properties as needed.
