SP BRIJ C (2/10/20)
"SP Brij™ C (2/10/20) refers to a series of ethoxylated fatty alcohols developed by Croda, each with varying degrees of ethoxylation. These surfactants are derived from cetyl alcohol and are part of the Brij™ series, which are non-ionic surfactants known for their emulsifying, dispersing, and wetting properties. SP Brij™ C2: This is a low ethoxylate (2 moles of ethylene oxide) and functions as an oil-in-water (O/W) co-emulsifier. It is commonly used in applications such as antiperspirants, deodorants, shaving products, and various skin and hair care formulations. SP Brij™ C10: With 10 moles of ethylene oxide, this surfactant offers a balance between hydrophilic and lipophilic properties, making it suitable for a wide range of personal care applications. SP Brij™ C20: This high ethoxylate (20 moles of ethylene oxide) provides excellent emulsifying and dispersing capabilities, particularly in formulations requiring higher levels of emulsification.
