Softisan® GC8 is a multifunctional cosmetic ingredient composed of glyceryl caprylate (INCI: Glyceryl Caprylate). It is a 100% natural, vegan, and palm-free ester derived from glycerol and caprylic acid. This ingredient serves multiple roles in cosmetic formulations, including antimicrobial boosting, emulsion stabilization, and pigment wetting. Its amphiphilic structure enhances emulsion stability by decreasing the droplet size in oil-in-water emulsions.
