Softisan® 378

Softisan® 378 is a 100% natural, semi-solid emollient derived from a blend of caprylic, capric, myristic, and stearic acids. This triglyceride mixture, with an approximate melting point of 39°C, exhibits a "melt-on-touch" characteristic, providing a rich yet non-greasy feel upon application. It offers excellent oxidative stability, ensuring prolonged shelf life without the need for added antioxidants or stabilizers. Softisan® 378 is free from skin-irritating substances such as heavy metals, catalysts, solvents, and preservatives, making it suitable for sensitive skin formulations. Its versatility allows its use in various cosmetic applications, including emulsions, anhydrous systems, and as a base for lip products, body butters and other skincare items.
