Softisan® 154
Softisan® 154 is a 100% natural, solid lipid derived from hydrogenated palm oil, primarily used as a viscosity and consistency agent in cosmetic formulations. It is composed of triglycerides from saturated, even-numbered, unbranched fatty acids with chain lengths ranging from C12 to C18. This ingredient is characterized by its sharp melting point between 53.0°C and 58.0°C, providing excellent hardness at room temperature and exceptional resistance to oxidation. Softisan® 154 has a neutral odor and taste, making it suitable for various applications, including hot melt coatings and as a structural agent in stick formulations like lipsticks and eyebrow pencils.
