Softigen® 767
Softigen® 767 is a mild, non-ionic solubilizer, humectant agent and emollient derived from castor oil, widely used to incorporate lipophilic substances such as essential oils, perfumes, or active ingredients into aqueous cosmetic formulations. It improves the sensory profile by providing a soft, non-greasy feel and enhances product stability without compromising skin tolerance. Its versatility and natural origin make it ideal for clear cleansers, micellar waters, toners, and other gentle formulations. Softigen® 767 comes with excellent skin compatibility, safe for use on sensitive skin and in cases of dermatitis. It forms a non-greasy film on the skin, gradually releasing the fragrance - a “long-lasting” effect. This action also occurs in rinse-off products, as it becomes insoluble in large amounts of water.
