Softigen® 701

Softigen® 701 is a non-ionic, polar multifunctional ingredient that is used as refatting agent in rinseoff applications and emollient with improved gliding in leave-on products and colour cosmetics. It is well tolerated by skin and mucosa. It is vegan, available in RSPO MB certified quality and manufactured exclusively in Germany. The partial glyceride is produced by esterification of plant-derived glycerol with castor oil. SOFTIGEN® 701 is a yellowish to amber-coloured, pasty to liquid product with a characteristic odour that turns into a clear liquid of oily consistency with a viscosity of approx. 500 – 600 mPas at 35°C.
