Revitalide™

ReVitAlide™ is an encapsulated retinol developed by Sederma, designed to enhance the stability and bioavailability of retinol in skincare formulations. It features a lipid-based submicron capsule that carries 3% active retinol, protecting it from degradation and facilitating a controlled release into the skin. This encapsulation improves the efficacy of retinol, allowing for reduced usage levels while maintaining excellent skin tolerance. Clinical studies have shown a sevenfold increase in retinol delivery into the skin compared to non-encapsulated retinol, leading to a significant reduction in wrinkle appearance at concentrations as low as 0.09% active retinol. ReVitAlide™ is a sustainable ingredient with 95.5% natural origin content, is 100% readily biodegradable within 28 days, and is RSPO approved. It can be stored at room temperature, making it suitable for various skincare applications targeting anti-aging, brightening, and elasticity.
