Regestril™

Regestril™ is a cosmetic active designed to prevent and reduce stretch marks by addressing the degradation of the extracellular matrix. It combines botanical extracts and peptides to inhibit proteolytic enzymes such as trypsin, chymotrypsin, and elastase, which are involved in the breakdown of collagen and elastin fibers. Additionally, Regestril™ stimulates the synthesis of key macromolecules like collagen I and fibronectin, promoting skin regeneration and improving the appearance of existing stretch marks. Clinical studies have shown that formulations containing Regestril™ can reduce the depth of stretch marks by up to 72% and increase skin thickness by approximately 10.8%. It is suitable for use in body care products, particularly those targeting stretch marks, and is typically incorporated at concentrations ranging from 2% to 4%
