Parafol® 12 RSPO

Parafol® 12 RSPO-MB is a high-purity, biodegradable, plant-derived emollient. It is a non-polar, very light, and highly spreading hydrocarbon that serves as an alternative to volatile silicones like Cyclopentasiloxane (D5). This ingredient is clear, colourless, and odourless, with a low viscosity and high volatility, allowing it to evaporate quickly from the skin without leaving a greasy residue. Its excellent spreadability and rapid evaporation make it ideal for formulations requiring a light, non-oily feel. Parafol® 12 RSPO-MB is compatible with silicones, lipophilic cosmetic ingredients, and UV filters, and is stable across a wide pH range. It is particularly suitable for use in skin care, sun care, hair care, and colour cosmetics, with recommended usage levels ranging from 1% to 10% depending on the application.
