O.D.A. White™

O.D.A. White™ is a skin-brightening agent developed by Sederma (Croda) to address skin pigmentation disorders such as freckles, melasma, hyperpigmentation, and general dark skin tones. Unlike traditional skin-lightening ingredients that inhibit tyrosinase, O.D.A. White™ operates through a novel mechanism by targeting the tyrosinase gene via the PPARy complex, effectively reducing melanin synthesis at the melanocyte nucleus. Clinical studies have demonstrated that the application of O.D.A. White™ leads to a significant decrease in pigmentation, with some studies reporting up to a 44% reduction in pigmentation and a 28% increase in skin clarity.
