Miglyol® 812 N is a pharmaceutical-grade medium-chain triglyceride (MCT) composed of caprylic (C8) and capric (C10) fatty acids in a 60:40 ratio, derived from coconut and palm kernel oils. This clear, odorless, low-viscosity liquid serves as a neutral, stable excipient with excellent oxidative stability. It functions as an emollient, solubilizer, and carrier for lipophilic active ingredients, enhancing skin penetration without leaving a greasy residue.
