Miglyol® 1018

Miglyol® 1018 is a medium-chain triglyceride (MCT) derived from vegetable sources such as coconut or palm kernel oil. It is composed primarily of caprylic (C8) and capric (C10) fatty acids. This clear, virtually odorless liquid is known for its excellent oxidative stability and low viscosity. In cosmetic and pharmaceutical formulations, Miglyol® 1018 serves as an effective emollient and solvent. It enhances the spreadability of products, providing a light, non-greasy skin feel.
