Cosmacol™ OE

Cosmacol™ OE is a colorless, odorless aliphatic ether with low molecular weight and low polarity. This emollient with quick spreadability enhances the sensory feel of oily formulations, providing a dry, non-tacky touch. It is ideal for reducing greasiness and stickiness in water-in-oil (W/O) emulsions, sunscreens, and silicones. Additionally, it serves as a solubilizer and dispersant for active ingredients and pigments in makeup products like mascaras and liquid eyeshadows. It is stable across a wide pH range (3.0–11.0) and can be used in concentrations of 1 to 10%.
