Accreditations

Brenntag is committed to providing our partners assurance in the quality and safety of the products we store, distribute and manufacture. We have always been very proactive in terms of formal validation of safety and quality principles. Internally we have developed a comprehensive Supplier Approval System (SAPRO) requiring mandatory certification, audit reports, production details and product testing for additives and ingredients from non-EU countries, supplied via the Brenntag network in Europe. In addition to a high level of internal scrutiny, we recognise the requirements and benefits of third-party verification relating to our infrastructure and services.

All of Brenntag Nordic’s sites have been assessed for ESAD II as well as a number of quality standards, such as ISO 9001, 14000 and FAMI-QS. The majority of our sites are certified. Our accreditations give customers an even greater confidence in the quality processes we have in place, the training our teams receive, and the commitment to being the custodians of the safety for the ingredients supply chain we operate in.

We work closely with the regulators and welcome their input, to ensure that our SEVESO sites operate to the very highest environmental and safety standards.
