  • Customer focus as a key task of the new Last Mile Service Operation (LMSO) structure in the three regions of northern, central, and southern Germany.
  • Vincent Petri will assume operational responsibility as General Manager for Last Mile Germany North, Kahraman Simsek for Germany Central, and Tim Uhrmeister for Germany South.
Brenntag, the global market leader in the distribution of chemicals and ingredients, today announced the finalization of its optimized management structure for Germany. The clear focus of the LMSOs will be on fast, agile decision-making in the interests of Brenntag's customers.
Brenntag Essentials' new Advanced Operating Model has been in use for several months and has now been rolled out worldwide. It applies to more than 100 last mile service operations, each managed by a general manager. This model is part of Brenntag Essentials' global "Triple" strategy. This strategy is based on three pillars: Last Mile Service Operations Excellence, Regional Sourcing & Supply Chain Services, and Interregional Optimization & Global Sourcing across regions. Brenntag Essentials aims to further strengthen its leading position in the industry and remain the market leader in all key markets in the long term.
The "last mile" is the commercial and operational heart of Brenntag Essentials' customer service. The responsible General Manager optimizes the services offered from the portfolio of all locations in his region. Depending on the geographical structure, the rest of the management team consists of the sales departments, operational responsibility for the respective locations in the region, and local purchasing and customer service.
The three General Managers of the German LMSOs are part of Brenntag Essentials' EMEA Central region. This region is headed by Benjamin Deister, Regional President Brenntag Essentials EMEA Central, and comprises the countries of the CEE region as well as Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
Deister: "With the new structure and our three general managers, we offer our German customers a clear strategic focus and new impetus, as well as the necessary agility and quick decision-making. We look forward to providing our customers with the best possible support!"
