Brenntag Química participates in In-Cosmetics 2015
Brenntag did not miss the annual date at the In-Cosmetics exhibition. This year’s edition was held at Barcelona from April 14 to 16.
In-Cosmetics is an excellent platform to meet with customers and suppliers from the cosmetic ingredients industry and share their concerns and needs, as well as to analyze the newest market trends and explore business opportunities.
In this edition, Brenntag has focused on two subjects: color & heat protection for hair and sensorial evaluation.
With regards to color protection, we presented Stepan’s surfactants for sulfate free formulations. In this product range, the new StepanMild L3 was highlighted as a mild non-irritating surfactant with important emollient properties.
Concerning heat protection, Brenntag distributes in Europe Bluestar silicones and functional solutions (blends). At In-Cosmetis we introduced the new Mirasil AMDE-P, an amodimethicone micro-emulsion which activates the penetration of actives in hair fibre and Mirasil Serum, a functional serum solution which protects the hair against heat and external aggressions.
Brenntag’s cosmetic laboratory is specialized in developing formulations for our customers. Our team has a wide experience in this industry and in sensorial evaluation, which allows us to meet the customer’s needs, following the latest market trends. In this sense, we introduced a complete range of natural texturizers from Cargill, which deliver new feelings and new sensorial effects.
Finally, we took the opportunity to announce that this year Brenntag has signed an agreement with DMC (Dow Microbial Control) for the distribution of its range of cosmetics preservatives, of which the product family Neolone is worth highlighting.
