On September 19, Brenntag location in Zgierz hosted over 50 guests from all over Poland during “Vegetable innovations in culinary industry – vegan, vegetarian and flexitarian solutions” seminar. The meeting has been organized together with our suppliers, as an answer to a growing interest in vegetarian products among food consumers and producers.
The event started with a presentation prepared in cooperation with Givaudan. We presented 10 innovative concepts for vegan and vegetarian meals, which our guests could taste. When the stage was taken by our Product Managers of Savoury Industry Department, we heard about opportunities in applying preparations based on methyl cellulose to secure the texture warm and also about proteins and natural bacteriostatic agents used for production of meat analogues and other vegetable products. Our guests heard also about Cargill’s starches, applied for vegetarian projects and products.
