Following German legislation („Gesetz für die gleichberechtigte Teilhabe von Frauen und Männern an Führungspositionen in der Privatwirtschaft und im öffentlichen Dienst“), Brenntag GmbH was obliged – 2015 for the first time – to determine target values for the proportion of women in the Supervisory Board, the Management Board and the first two management levels below the Management Board as well as to define a timeframe for reaching the determined target values. On June 30th 2017, the initial timeframe expired. All target values have been achieved.
On June 14th 2017, following target values were determined for the period of five years, starting July 1st 2017 until June 30th 2022. This, of course, does not mean that the percentage of women will not increase.
