Meet Terri Winters, senior chemist for the Personal Care industry
Terri Winters, Senior Chemist
Terri has over 20 years experience in the Personal Care industry and has been with Brenntag Specialties since 2017. She has formulated for the skin care, hair hare, and color cosmetic markets. As a member of the Personal Care Research and Development team, she develops prototypes highlighting our materials and provides technical support both within our organization and to external customers.

While we applaud community efforts to maintain strong safety standards in Personal Care chemical distribution and use, we understand it can cause concern for those in the industry. Each year, the Personal Care lab debuts new hair care , skin care , and cosmetic prototypes. These prototypes serve to showcase trends in the Personal Care market, as well as unique uses for ingredients.
The prototypes contain:
- Finished starter formulas that highlight ingredients from all of our suppliers
- Formulary cards for each prototype

Note: Prototypes undergo stability testing at 40oC for a period of three months.These prototypes are also intended for use as starting formulas only and may be altered or modified as needed.
