NONIONIC SYNTHETIC ASSOCIATIVE THICKENER
For low shear (KU) viscosity build in waterborne paints and coatings
Aquaflow NLS-200 rheology modifiers is a nonionic synthetic associative thickener (NSAT) designed to build Stormer viscosity and provider superior flow and leveling in latex paints.
Aquaflow NLS-200 NSAT is compatible with acrylic, styrene-acrylic, vinyl acrylic and vinyl acetate ethylene (VAE) latexes can be used in interior and exterior paint formulations.

Applications and Formulation
Aquaflow NLS-200 NSAT can be used in a variety of paint formulations and is fully compatible with other rheology modifiers. For example, using Aquaflow NLS-300 NSAT with Aquaflow NLS-200 NSAT will increase high-shear viscosity. Adding Natrosol Plus modified hydroxyethylcellulose (HMHEC) can enhance sag resistance and color development.
When used as the sole thickener, some low shear NSATs will exhibit excellent anti- sag properties but may also adversely impact the flows and leveling. The addition of a high shear thickener to such symptoms will provide the excellent sag resistance and flow and leveling balance.
It is recommended that Aquaflow NLS-200 rheology modifier be incorporated into the paint formulation before the addition of the latex.
Packaging and Storage
Aquaflow NLS-200 NSAT is supplied in plastic drums of 00 kilos net or in totes of 1050 kilos net. It is recommended to use the product in rotation on a first-in-first-out basis. The product should be stored under dry and clean conditions at room temperature in its original packing away from heat.
