Today, Brenntag North America, Inc. opened its doors to Rep. Ryan Costello (R-PA) at its Reading, PA, facility to show him the value and safety of chemical distribution companies that participate in programs like NACD Responsible Distribution®, the National Association of Chemical Distributors’ (NACD) mandatory third-party verification environmental, health, safety, and security program. Brenntag North America, Inc. is a member in good standing of the association.
“It was a pleasure to have Congressman Costello at our facility today,” said Brenntag North America Senior VP of Global Accounts and Director of Government Affairs Bob Moser. “It is imperative our policymakers understand how chemical distribution works. Distributors have a tremendous economic impact in their local communities and across the nation. As a company with facilities all over the United States, we hope to put more people to work in this great country through national policies that promote growth and job creation.”
“It was very enlightening to tour one of Brenntag’s facilities and learn about their efforts to keep local communities safe through Responsible Distribution,” said Rep. Costello, who sits on the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure and the House Veterans’ Affairs Committee. “Learning about chemical distribution allows me be more effective and thoughtful in putting forward policies that help Pennsylvania businesses continue to grow.””
