History of Brenntag Peru
Brenntag Peru began operations on July 9, 1984, under the name of Peruana de Terminales S.A., with only 2 workers in a small office, focusing on solvent management and with a range of approximately 20 products.
In April 1988, the company, then belonging to the HCI Holland Chemical International group changes its name to Holland Química del Perú. The number of workers had increased to 10, the administrative offices operated in a 200 m2 premises and there was a 300 m2 warehouse.
In May 2000, we already had 40 employees. Both the growth of our staff and the increase in our operations led us to move to the 3,800 m2 premises where we are currently operating. In October 2002, Brenntag AG from Germany acquired the HCI Holland Chemical International group; Thus, our company obtains the support of the main logistics operator worldwide, currently with more than 490 locations in 72 countries, changing, in April 2003, its corporate name to Brenntag Perú S.A.C.
Our own experience gained over these years, as well as the successful shared experience of the other countries, put us on the path of diversification, allowing our product portfolio to expand and consolidate in areas such as Mining, Oil & Gas, Food and Nutrition, Plastics, Paints, Animal Health and Nutrition, Personal Care, among others, currently serving an average of 1000 active clients.
