What is the „Responsible Care^®" program?

„Responsible Care^®program is a initiative unifying chemical industry in over 50 countries all over the world. The main objective is to develop good management practices and procedures leading to improve awareness and responsibility of chemical companies.

"Responsible Care^®" aims to show that chemistry is actually friendly to people and the environment.

The program logo (two hands embracing the molecule) symbolizes how much the chemical industry cares and observes all its operations and stands for its responsibility in all areas affected, not limited to the environment or human health but much wider.

In Lietuva the program gathers together several companies (producers and distributors), which undertake activities in the field of responsibility for environmental protection, technical safety and health prevention that bring significant results.
