Brenntag has completed the acquisition of Neuto Chemical Corp. (“Neuto“). Headquartered in Taipei, Neuto focuses on the distribution of specialty and industrial chemicals to many industries such as Electronics, Coatings (ACES), Polymer, Water Treatment and Lubricants.

Brenntag acquired Tee Hai Chem Pte Ltd (“TEEHAI”) in Singapore, a market leader in providing supply chain solutions for materials, chemicals and services for the Life Sciences, Electronics manufacturing and Research & Diagnostics sectors in Singapore and Southeast Asia.

Brenntag acquired Raj Petro Specialities Pvt, India, operating from Mumbai and Chennai, distributes its own-blended brands of petroleum-related products to diverse customer industries in India and other countries in Asia Pacific as well as in Africa and the Middle East.

Brenntag acquired Wellstar, a distribution company of high performance pigments with presence in China and Hong Kong.

Brenntag acquired EPChem, a Singapore-based marketing and distribution company with presence in China and Indonesia as well.

EPChem supplies special performance chemicals in the Asia Pacific region, dedicated to wax and its related products. As the most experienced FT wax supplier in the region, it has a diverse and comprehensive product range and supplies to more than 32 countries worldwide.

Brenntag acquired TAT Group, a Singapore based distributor for industrial chemicals.

The company’s facilities in Singapore cover supply chain requirements and value added services including modern blending, packaging, storage and logistics facilities. Via its subsidiaries in Singapore, South Korea, Vietnam, Hong Kong and Indonesia, TAT offers its local and overseas customers a broad product range of solvents and related products.

With the acquisition of Blue Sky Environment Pty Ltd Brenntag increases its presence in Australia.

Blue Sky Eco is an importer and distributor of AdBlue, which is a liquid product that is added to diesel fuel to allow heavy transport to meet the new regulations for diesel emission standards. Considered a “green” product, AdBlue acts with the vehicle exhaust catalyst to neutralize harmful exhaust gas emissions. AdBlue is now a business unit within the Industrial Division of Brenntag Australia.

Brenntag acquired the ISM/Salkat Group, a leading distributor of specialty chemicals in Australia and New Zealand. This acquisition expands Brenntag’s market position in Australia and New Zealand and enlarges the existing specialty product portfolio in the region.

By acquiring Zhong Yung (International) Chemical Ltd. Brenntag achieves the strategic market entry in China.

The acquisition will take place in two steps and will be completed by 2016 presumably. Zhong Yung is focused on the distribution of solvents with established commercial and logistical infrastructure in the key economic regions in China.

With the acquisition of EAC Industrial Ingredients Ltd. A/S Brenntag significantly expands its presence in Asia Pacific.

Brenntag acquired Rhodia’s chemical distribution operations in Southeast Asia and extended its global distribution network into the Asia Pacific Region.
