Brenntag Nordic complies with the new data regulation (GDPR)
On May 25 2018, the new, General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) will be enacted within the EU. The Regulation is meant to protect the common person in regards to how companies handle their personal data. In Brenntag Nordic, we take this matter seriously. We only hold the most necessary information essential for keeping in contact with our customers. This means we keep information on names of our customers’ contact persons along with contact information such as phone number and email address.
We carry out risk analyses of all processes that holds personal information. This also includes processes where information about customers is handled.
Furthermore, we educate our employees in being informed and knowing about GDPR, so they are aware of which information they can and cannot keep on our customers’ employees.
