This entails reusing and recycling resources and introducing circularity throughout the supply chain.
As a distributor, we believe we have a key role in connecting our customers with sustainable solutions. For the past year, we have engaged in facilitating circular partnerships with our customers, ensuring that residual products do not end up as waste but are collected for re-utilization in other productions. And we are confident that such and similar solutions are they forward if we are to ensure a sustainable consumption.
However, if we are to truly change the way we consume resources within the chemical sector even more chemical users need to engage in a circular economy. In Brenntag Nordic we are eager to take these first steps with our customers as well as suppliers. One of the biggest challenges in circular chemistry is preventing unintended, harmful chemicals from entering the supply chain and implementing steps in the production that allow substances and ingredients to be collected for re-use and recycling. In Brenntag Nordic we have solved this by putting together a team of specialist, who have expertise within chemical & waste legislation, extensive knowledge of chemical application and thorough market knowledge. We believe, this is one of the many ways in which we can help our customers utilize resources more efficiently and contribute to circularity within the chemical sector.
