Brenntag, the global market leader in chemicals and ingredients distribution, today announced the signing of a preferred distribution agreement with Kerry, a global manufacturer of high-quality Acetates, for the supply of their Niacet Pharma Acetates product range across most of Europe (including Germany, France, Italy, Nordic region, Poland, CEE and others, but excluding UK, Ireland and Iberia).
The high-purity Acetates (Ammonium Acetate, Calcium Acetate, Potassium Acetate, Sodium Acetate Anhydrous, Sodium Acetate Trihydrate and Sodium Diacetate) are manufactured at Kerry’s GMP-certified facility in Tiel, Netherlands, aligning with European and US pharmacopeia standards.
These high-purity acetates are essential to pharmaceutical manufacturing, serving as raw materials, processing aids, or APIs across a wide range of applications, including parenteral preparations, dialysis fluids, bioprocessing and cell culture, API synthesis, and ophthalmic formulations. Kerry holds relevant regulatory approvals, including a US Drug Master File (DMF) for Calcium Acetate, and a Certificate of Suitability (CEP) for Sodium Acetate Trihydrate.
