Sodium Benzoate
Sodium benzoate is a white or colorless crystalline powder. It is a widely used food preservative, E211. It is the sodium salt of Benzoic Acid and exists in this form when dissolved in water. It is used as a preservative in personal care applications and as a corrosion inhibitor in automotive and other antifreeze products.
