Brenntag, the global market leader in chemicals and ingredients distribution, today announced a significant expansion of its global partnership with Women in Chemicals (WIC) for 2026, building on a long-standing alliance to advance gender equity, professional growth, and female business community across the chemical industry.
Women in Chemicals is an international non-profit organization that provides mentorship, education, networking, and leadership opportunities for women and allies in the chemical industry. From the inception of WIC in 2021, the organization and Brenntag have collaborated on key initiatives such as conferences, regional programs, and major industry events that broaden access to development opportunities and raise the visibility of women across the global chemicals landscape.
Kylie Wittl, Women in Chemicals Co-Founder and Executive Board Member, said: “We are thrilled to see this elevated partnership with Brenntag come to life. It’s a union that accelerates our long-term mission to empower women across the global chemical industry. From day one, our goal has been to build an authentic, support-centric community where women can connect, collaborate, and combine their superpowers to break barriers and expand opportunities. Brenntag’s global reach and commitment to inclusion strengthen our ability to do exactly that. This transformative partnership enhances our visibility, deepens our infrastructure, and positions Women in Chemicals to deliver even greater impact for our members worldwide.”
“We have supported Women in Chemicals for many years and are proud to already have more than 500 Brenntag colleagues, especially in North America, engaged with the organization and its events. This sponsorship is a way for us to deepen and expand our relationship, both in terms of enabling Women in Chemicals as well as engaging our employees worldwide to foster an inclusive workplace and advancing gender equity, professional growth, and female business community across the chemical industry”, added Francis Bracke-Schröder, CHRO Brenntag Group.
Under the expanded agreement, Brenntag will continue as Title Sponsor of the WIC Annual Conference and maintain joint engagement at prominent industry forums including AFPM and EPCA. Beginning in 2026, Brenntag will also assume an elevated role as a Title Corporate Sponsor, helping WIC deliver high-quality virtual and in-person programs for its worldwide membership., such as virtual panels and webinars, leadership development seminars, and a global network of professionals dedicated to advancing careers in the industry.
