Brenntag (ISIN DE000A1DAHH0), the global market leader in chemicals and ingredients distribution, today presented the candidates for the elections of the Brenntag SE Supervisory Board at the Annual General Meeting on May 22, 2025. Brenntag will propose an expansion of the Supervisory Board from six to eight members. The expansion is intended to strengthen and complement the competencies and expertise of the Supervisory Board, and addresses the increased demands placed on Supervisory Boards in global companies.
Dominik de Daniel, CEO of Kühne Holding AG, has more than 20 years of C-suite management experience in various leading global listed companies in the service industry, with a focus on logistics, strategy, finance, M&A, process improvement, IT & digitalization, and investor relations.
Karl von Rohr is an internationally trained lawyer with almost three decades of executive and non-executive experience in large international publicly listed companies in the financial services industry, and more recently non-executive experience in family-owned companies across various industries. Following his tenure as deputy CEO and Member of the Management Board of Deutsche Bank AG, Karl von Rohr is currently a Member of the Supervisory Board of DWS Group GmbH.
Susanne Wiegand has over 20 years of experience in senior management roles in international publicly listed and family-owned companies from various industries like defense, mechanical engineering and shipbuilding. Most recently, she served as CEO of RENK Group AG. Susanne Wiegand has a proven track record in the areas of growth strategies, IPOs, transformation and industrial markets.

The term of Dr Andreas Rittstieg ends with the Annual General Meeting, and he is not standing for re-election after 15 years of service.
