What is the Responsible Care program?

Responsible Care program is a unique initiative unifying chemical industry in over 50 countries around the world. Its main objective is to develop good management practices leading to improve awareness and responsibility of chemical companies.

Responsible Care aims to show that chemistry is actually friendly to people and the environment.

The logo of the program (two hands embracing the molecule) symbolizes how much the chemical industry cares and observes its manufacturing operations and stands for its responsibility in all areas affected, not limited to the environment or human health.

Responsible Care gathers together several companies (producers and distributors), which undertake activities in the field of environmental protection, technical safety and health prevention that bring significant results.
