Calcium Phosphate Adjuvant
An alternative to aluminium adjuvants
The calcium phosphate adjuvant was originally developed at the Institut Pasteur, France, by professor Edgar H. Relyveld, and it was used as adjuvant for decades by Institut Pasteur for their IPAD series of vaccines for human use.
Brenntag Biosector produced and marketed it as a non-GMP product until 2014, but the production was put on hold due to the need for some production process and GMP upgrades. For this reason it is at present considered a pipeline product.
