Our application process
Your application documents should contain a motivational letter, a detailed CV (résumé) with a recent photo, and relevant copies of certificates/references. We want to get to know you well and would therefore like to learn more about your reasons for your application, in addition to your professional suitability for the position on the basis of your experiences, qualifications and skills.
For each vacant position, we create an appropriate requirement profile which is defined with the corresponding manager. This serves as the basis for the application process. When assessing your written documents, we will check your professional qualifications and the completeness of the information provided. Your personal style will also be taken into consideration. Your application documents will be passed to the relevant department and discussed with the managers.
The initial interview
If you have made it onto our shortlist, we will invite you to attend an initial interview. Depending on the position you are applying for, the interview will be conducted by the departmental manager and an employee from the HR department. This gives both you and us the opportunity to learn more about each other in an open discussion and to ensure that the chemistry is right. We will introduce you to Brenntag, the specific department and the precise activities, and take the time to answer your questions.
The number of interviews can vary according to the position.
Invitation to a second interview
If you impressed us in the first interview, we will invite you to a second interview with the department or executive management.
After the interviews
If both interviews are successful, we will send you our firm offer for a position in the company. Should your work experience or qualifications not meet our requirements or we are not a good fit then either you will receive a letter of rejection or we will arrange with you to keep your application on file for future vacancies.
