500 critical questions on handling chemicals

The "European Single Assessment Document" (ESAD) provides a catalogue comprising more than 500 detailed questions on the handling of chemicals - and also includes a wide-ranging catalogue of questions on plant and occupational safety. By answering these questions (together with an independent auditor), chemical distributors can document their performance capabilities in this area and ensure, for example, that they have "done their homework" in the field of environmental protection and the safe handling of chemicals.

Many Brenntag distribution warehouses have already undergone this process. In France, for example, all 19 locations have already been assessed in accordance with the ESAD guidelines.
