April 7th essential2®life 5K to Benefit American Red Cross

5k Run, 3K Walk and Kids Sprints at Liberty State Park in Jersey City

PRINCETON, NJ, March 27, 2012 – The sixth annual essential2®life 5K, presented by the member companies of the American Chemistry Council and Chemistry Council of New Jersey, will be held Saturday, April 7, 2012, at Liberty State Park in Jersey City. The race will include a 5K Run, a 3K Walk and e2 Kids Sprints for children ages two through eleven.

The essential2®life 5K aims to highlight the importance of chemistry in everyday life, as well as its contribution to the overall health of the economy. Since its inception in 2007, the essential2®life 5K has raised more than $125,000 to benefit the American Red Cross.
