Due to its traditionally strong market position in Europe, Brenntag focused on issues of health, work safety and environmental protection in Europe in the very early stages.

 

The decision to participate in the "Responsible Care program" was taken back in 1997, for example, and Brenntag also systematically implements the "Product Stewardship concept" drawn up at European level.
