Community Involvement

As our company continues to grow, we think it’s important to also grow within our local communities. Our employees volunteer their time to organize and participate in events for various charitable projects throughout the year including United Way, food drives and environmental sustainability.

The following are some of the community programs our company and employees participate in:

We practice the recycling of paper, plastic, aluminum, cardboard, printer cartridges and batteries to reduce Brenntag Canada's overall Carbon footprint.

As a founding member of this association, Brenntag Canada has always participated in steering committees and as members of the board of directors

We help promote the future of chemistry by our active involvement over the past several years with You Be The Chemist® Canada. The program was created to promote the positive use of chemistry, engage the youth of today and encourage younger generations to consider a future in the chemical industry.

YBTC was created by the US based – Chemical Educational Foundation (CEF) and adopted in 2005 by RDC to promote safe and beneficial use of chemicals and chemistry in Canada.
The objective is to inspire the youth of today to pursue a future in the science of Chemistry and highlight the exciting job and career opportunities that exist within it. It enhances science education through innovative techniques (hands-on activities) and, promotes acceptance of long-term change in the general public’s understanding and general acceptance towards chemistry and the chemical industry.
