1) Achieve or exceed annual agreed sales budget and margin objectives for the assigned territory or market segments while maintaining expenses within assigned budget guidelines.
2) Responsible to maintain an existing account base as well as identify and develop growth opportunities within assigned sector so to expand market coverage as well as market penetration.
3) Responsible for payment collection.
4) Also assist in implementing and monitoring the marketing plan. Carries out market surveys as agreed with the manager to formulate plans, evaluate market conditions and recommend appropriate next steps to maximize sales output.
5) Participate in the preparation and implementation of annual budget for area of accountability.
6) Identify and report potential sales growth opportunities and factors which could influence Brenntag’s local marketing plans and objectives.
7) Work with the assigned customer service representative and technical resources (internal and external) to insure a level of service that meets customers’ requirements.
8) Establish strong business relationships with existing customer base and develop value relationships with potential clients to expand business.
9) Utilize the Brenntag Sales Process and maintain in a timely manner the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database, as well as, complete all other assigned reporting requirements.
10) Ensure all activities are conducted with health, safety, quality and environment management systems as well as corporate and local policies.
